Last year, the Lights All Night New Year's Eve Music Festival was a huge hit for music lovers in Dallas. Attendees got to hear some of the best DJ's in the nation scratch records to bring in the New Year. It's back for the second year in a row. This time around is promised to be bigger and better than last year. There is sure to be lots of dancing, grooving and, of course, wild lights!
Ghostland Observatory, the big headliners from the last festival, will return this year to make the New Year's Eve Party a night to remember. Several other DJ's, including Girl Talk, Tiesto, Diplo, Flux Pavilion and RJD2 will also be showing off their beats as well.
Prior to the huge event, Dallas is planning a DJ spin-off to select other performers. This contest is scheduled for December 3 at Artopia. The finalists fighting for a spot in the festival are Skrause, The Latin House Knew and DJ-O. After each DJ performs a 15 minute set, one will be chosen to perform. Hank Keller, Scott Osburn, Clint Keller and Asim Sheikh will judge these finalists.
The Lights All Night New Year's Eve Music Festival will be held December 30 and 31 at the Dallas Convention Center. Tickets start at $79 for one night of festivities and $150 for both nights. VIP tickets can be purchased for $275 - a great deal for the fantastic lineup. Tickets can be purchased from the Lights All Night website. Everyone 18 and older is welcome to the show. Join Dallas in scratching in the New Year!
